All workshops are one-day and are $750. Price includes all participant materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The price for one person attending two (one-day) workshops is $1275. Send three or more people from the same company and get an additional 15% discount.

•  World Class Journey:  Achieving World Class Performance through the Lean Manufacturing Toolset:   July 17, 2007

Lean Manufacturing is the prevailing improvement methodology used to achieve World Class performance.  But most companies have a problem knowing where to start and which lean tools should be implemented to begin and sustain the journey to World Class performance.  This workshop begins with an overview of the Lean Principles, the Lean Toolset, and World Class performance metrics.  It then introduces an Improvement Methodology with an imbedded “Opportunity Analysis” used to define the specific lean tools to be implemented, the benefits, and where they are to be implemented. 

• 5S:  How to Implement a Sustainable 5S Program:   July 18, 2007

  This workshop provides training in how to implement a sustainable 5S program.  It covers the material in our “5S Implementation Guide” and provides hands-on team based exercises.  We cover how to prepare for 5S, how to kickoff 5S, and dig into each of the 5 Ss.  This is a comprehensive program that includes the implementation roadmap, communication board layout, red tag procedures, the audit procedures, and lots more forms and information.   

• Quick Changeover:  How to Implement a Sustainable Quick Changeover Program:  July 31, 2007

  Quick Changeover is a major strategic initiative for improving customer delivery performance because changeovers can be made more frequently in lower quantities.  This more closely links customer demand with production with an associated improvement in delivery metrics.  This workshop provides training in how to implement a sustainable Quick Changeover program.  It covers the material in our “Quick Changeover Implementation Guide” and provides hands-on team based exercises.
